About the position

The project sales department at ABECE is growing and is now looking for a sales engineer. In this role, you will work closely with your colleagues as well as customers around the world. In the project sales department, you will be part of a technology-interested team with three colleagues.

As a sales engineer at ABECE in Nyköping, you will work in a broad role where you are responsible for creating business opportunities with both new and existing customers. Together with the customer, you will create customized solutions for facilities. You contribute with technical expertise and act as support to customers and colleagues, so it is important that you have a technical interest. To gain insight into your customers' needs and challenges, you will visit them worldwide, but you will be based in the office in Nyköping. There may be up to 50 travel days per year.

Job responsibilities

As a sales engineer at ABECE, you will have a very varied role where your ability to see the big picture combined with your ability to build long-term customer relationships is in focus. Initially, when you start, you will receive an overview of the company's processes and products to give you the best possible conditions for success in the role. As you develop in the role, you will likely spend time traveling to visit customers spread all over the world together with colleagues. Your main task will be to analyze customer needs and offer customized solutions by being a close partner to your customers. You will also handle ongoing orders and inquiries from customers. Here, your technical expertise will also be of great benefit, as you will assist with technical expertise in many discussions with customers.

In summary, in the role of sales engineer, you will:

  • Design, calculate, and quote machine solutions
  • Provide technical expertise and commercial support to your customers, colleagues, and partners
  • Create and maintain relationships and long-term collaborations worldwide
  • Process new and existing customers and be responsible for the entire sales process
  • Set budgets and follow up on results
  • Participate in the company's product development

We are looking for you who

  • Have a strong technical interest
  • Have work experience in B2B sales
  • Have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Have a B driver's license
  • Have good computer skills and Office knowledge

We consider it an advantage if you have:

  • Previous work experience in technical B2B sales
  • Experience of international work
